Duties of Kuwait Airways Jobs

• Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the Legal Department. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management for the position.
• Develops KAC policies on contract and insurance procedures and identifies types of coverage for Management approval. Supervises and directs the preparation of contracts and insurance policies, negotiation of claims, and provision of other legal services.
• Provides advice to Management on the formulation of contractual and insurance terms and conditions, as applicable, for international as well as local contracting.
• Provides advice to department directors on contracts, including interpretation of KAC policies in this respect. Includes, reviewing contract agreements drafts to ensure compliance with related Kuwaiti and international regulations, and KAC legal rights.
• Supervises, checks and prepares calls for tenders, contracts, amendments, etc., and personally attends or delegates subordinates to attend Tender Committee meetings.
• Advises on all matters involving litigation. Includes, reviewing and approving case briefs, participating in legal and quasi-legal proceedings, and supervising legal representation in all aspects of litigation.
• Exercises general supervision over insurance activities to ensure coverage of all KAC risks and liabilities. Includes, participating in premium and contract provisions with local insurance and reinsurance companies, inspecting important accidents, and recommending claim settlements on ex-gratia basis.
